This site uses first-party analytics and third-party services to understand which pages people find useful, how visitors arrive, what they search for, and which businesses may be interested in Ken's services.

What is collected

  • A randomly generated pseudonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser.
  • A randomly generated session identifier that lasts for the current browser tab session.
  • The pages viewed on this site and the time of each analytics event.
  • Referral information and campaign parameters, including source, medium, campaign, and the full referring page address when available. A referring address or campaign value may contain information placed there by the referring site or link creator.
  • Search terms you submit through the site search and the number of matching results. Search terms are stored as entered, so avoid including personal or sensitive information.

What is not collected

  • Raw IP addresses are not stored in the first-party analytics database.
  • Contact-form content is not stored as a first-party analytics event.
  • The first-party analytics database does not store precise location data.

If you submit the contact form, the information you enter is stored separately so Ken can respond to your inquiry. It is not added to the first-party analytics described on this page.

Third-party tracking

Google Analytics and RB2B tracking scripts currently load when you visit the site. These services receive information directly from your browser and operate under their own privacy practices.

  • Google Analytics measures visits and site usage. Google may receive page activity, referral information, browser and device details, network information including your IP address, approximate location, and cookies or similar identifiers. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • RB2B is used for business visitor identification and sales intelligence. RB2B may receive page activity, referral information, browser, device and network identifiers, and may associate a visit with business or professional information available to it. Learn more in the RB2B Privacy Policy.

Third-party retention is controlled by those providers and is not the same as the first-party analytics retention described below.

Storage and retention

The visitor identifier is kept in your browser's local storage until you clear site data. The session identifier is kept in session storage and normally ends when the browser tab is closed. Analytics event records currently have no automatic deletion schedule and are retained until they are manually deleted.

Your choices

You can reset the pseudonymous identifiers by clearing this site's local and session storage in your browser. Blocking browser storage may also prevent the identifiers from persisting, although an in-memory identifier may still be used during the open page session. Browser privacy tools or content blockers may also limit Google Analytics and RB2B, subject to how those tools operate.

Consent controls

The analytics and business-identification scripts described above currently load without an on-site consent control. Because this site is publicly available and may be visited from regions where non-essential analytics storage requires advance consent, a consent control should be added before intentionally targeting visitors in those regions. This disclosure does not replace consent where local law requires it.
