Experience, documented

Three chapters of building in public.

These are experience stories from Ken’s own career—not client case studies. Each one reflects a documented company milestone or public body of work behind Ken’sgrowth advisory for agencies and digital businesses.

VendorSeek · 2001–2008

Building a B2B marketplace from the basement—and selling it.

Ken founded VendorSeek in 2001 as a one-person, bootstrapped business. The model connected businesses seeking professional services with vendors prepared to serve them.

He built the company into a multimillion-dollar B2B lead-generation marketplace before its 2008 sale to QuinStreet. The experience became a practical foundation for the companies he built next.

That first business required choices about audience, demand, marketplace dynamics, and the operating discipline needed to turn an idea into a company.

WebiMax · Founded 2008

Scaling an agency—and earning national recognition.

Ken started WebiMax in 2008 with four people and grew the digital marketing and reputation-management agency to more than $20 million in revenue, 180 employees, and operations across five countries.

That growth was recognized when WebiMax ranked No. 37 nationally and No. 1 in New Jersey on the 2012 Inc. 500. Ken was later included in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2018 class of Most Admired CEOs.

The operating lessons are directly relevant to agency leaders weighing positioning, service mix, pipeline, team design, delivery capacity, and the tradeoffs that come with scale.

National media & public commentary

Turning operating experience into clear public perspective.

Ken has appeared on CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, MSNBC, and other outlets as a commentator on entrepreneurship, online marketing, social media, technology, and digital business.

The record spans television, radio, podcasts, and published interviews—from discussing social-media advertising on Bloomberg to WhatsApp’s shutdown in Brazil on CNBC and branding on CBS Sports Radio.

Explaining complex digital-business issues to public audiences is part of the same practical approach: make the decision, evidence, and tradeoffs easier to understand.
